This is an interesting chart to be able to determine how much current a particular trace width can carry using 1/2oz ~ 3oz copper laminate board.
Use the bottom half of this chart. Vertically find your trace width in thousands (.001" on up). Go across until you hit the particular copper weight of your board (all of our boards are all 1/2oz copper). At the intersection, go down to read current in amps that can pass without burning up the trace.
